Kip - Bass
Kip - Bass
Kip started playing classic rock & blues back in the early 60s. Although then there was nothing classic about it. It was cutting edge!!! Too young for Woodstock, Kip, and the band “Sunday Morning Revival” played local high school dances and proms, and “Battles of The Bands”. After high school Kip played the local nightclub scene playing rock and Top 40 with the bands “Spellbound”, “Surge”, and “Fat Chance”. In the early 80s Kip joined Jack’s newly formed band “Main Street”. They played together for a solid ten years playing proms Booze Cruise’s, and nightclubs. Kip later had a brief tenure with the band”B.F.T. And the Shifters”. This hard rock trio introduced Kip to the Dry Dock which is still one of his favorite clubs to play. In the early 90s Kip reformed the band “Main Street” into a Top 40/GB band. This version of the band played many local nightclubs, weddings and corporate parties for over a dozen years. Finally tiring of the wedding scene Kip reunited with Jack in the “Chowda Heads”, back to his roots playing classic rock and blues after a long time of paying his dues.
